Righteous Courage | Trauma, Triggers, Abuse, Boundaries, Healing
Have you done the healing work but still find yourself asking, “Now what?” Do you feel guilty every time you set a boundary with your family? Are old cycles pulling at you even though God has already brought you out? Do you know what God told you to do but struggle to obey when it becomes uncomfortable?
I am so excited you’re here! Righteous Courage will help you apply Biblical truth to your everyday decisions, set boundaries without guilt, trust God without having all the answers, and stay free without returning to the dysfunction God brought you out of—so you can move forward into the next chapter He has for you.
Hello, I’m Cassey Lynn—a mom of adult children, a warrior in Christ, and a woman of faith. I ran from my childhood trauma for the vast majority of my life. I chased everything from money to men instead of facing the demons that kept me awake at night.
At 33, my life stopped. Everything went silent, and the pain from my childhood hit me like a Mack truck. It became so heavy and came on so fast that I wanted to end my life. I was about to make a decision that would have left generational scars not only on my children but also on my grandchildren.
God really does leave the 99 to come for the one. I called out for help, hoping someone would find me. God answered me in the way only He could by saying, “Now we heal.” That moment began my journey of healing, but healing was never meant to be where my story ended. God taught me how to apply my faith practically, stop returning to dysfunction, and move forward-and now I'm here to help you do the same.
If you’re a mature woman of faith who has done the work and is ready to move forward with a practical, faith-based plan to protect your peace, stay free, and stop returning to dysfunction, then go grab a snack, pull up a chair at my table, and let’s talk it out together.
Here, we talk about Biblical truth, practical faith, and real conversations.
Exhale, sis. Let down your hair. It’s going to be okay.
We walk by faith, not survival.

How much time have you spent trying to defend yourself? Do you measure your worth by what you accomplish? Are you exhausted from trying to prove who you are too other people? What would change if you chose presence over performance?
In today’s Sip & Settle In episode of Righteous Courage, we’re talking about self-worth, presence over performance, and what happens when you stop trying to prove who you are.
This conversation will help you recognize when performance has become tied to your identity, separate your worth from what you accomplish, and become more comfortable with no longer explaining yourself to everyone around you.
If you’re tired of measuring your worth by what you can accomplish or prove to other people, go get comfortable with your favorite beverage as we talk this out together.
Beautiful you have nothing to prove.
We walk by faith, not survival.

Have you survived a difficult season but still live like you’re waiting for the next fight? Do you struggle to let your guard down even though God has already brought you through it? Are you protecting what God built in you, or are you still dressing like the version of yourself who was only trying to survive?
In today’s episode of Righteous Courage, we’re getting practical about how Christian women can get out of survival mode, put on the full armor of God, and stand their ground after God has brought them through a difficult season.
We’ll talk about exchanging lies for truth, chaos for peace, and doubt for faith. You’ll learn how to recognize when an old survival response is controlling you, use Scripture when the enemy comes knocking, and protect the healing, character, and stability God has built in you.
You survived it—but you don’t have to keep dressing like you’re still living in it.
You’ve been through hell and back. Now, beautiful, let’s protect what God has built.
Listen, follow, and share Righteous Courage with a woman who needs help moving forward.
We walk by faith, not survival.

Have you ever looked back at something you prayed desperately to keep & thought, "Thank God He didn't give me what I asked for"? Or is there a "no" you've forgotten to thank Him for?
In today's episode of Righteous Courage, we're talking about learning how to praise God for the closed doors, ended relationships, the prayers He answered differently than we expected.
I'm sharing some of the "no's" that were hard for me to accept-and what I can see now about God's protection, correction, & faithfulness through them.
Praising the no's is hard. But pretending God hasn't already been faithful? That's a dangerous place to live.
Pull up a chair as we talk it out together & take a look at the "no's" we have forgotten or maybe never seen but forgot to thank Him for.

Have you ever looked in the mirror and wondered where your confidence went?
Maybe life, disappointment, grief, rejection, or years of carrying too much have left you feeling small. But what if your confidence isn't gone at all? What if it's simply been covered?
In this episode of Righteous Courage, we're talking about what it looks like to rebuild confidence—not by striving harder or pretending you've got it all together, but by returning to the truth of who God says you are.
Together, we'll uncover biblical truths God used to help me stand firm, silence self-doubt, and walk with quiet confidence rooted in Christ instead of the opinions of others.
Because real confidence isn't about proving your worth. It's about resting in the truth that your worth has already been settled.
